Fellow Elmwood Park HS 1978 Graduates,

SAVE THE WEEKEND OF October 1st and 2nd!!!!!!

The EPHS 1978 50th Birthday Party/Reunion planning committee would like to know if you would be interested in a football game and party the weekend of October 1st and 2nd. We discovered that the HS is looking to have all alumni attend the Homecoming Game on Friday, October 1st. We thought this presented a unique opportunity to get together at the game on Friday, and then throw ourselves the most awesome 50th Birthday Bash on Saturday! A venue for party has not been selected yet, but it will be in the Chicagoland area on Saturday, October 2nd.

The party is in the early planning stages, but we'd like to get a ball park number of attendees to secure a cool, low cost venue and equally low cost hotel rooms. We ask that you simply respond to this event notice by either saying "Yes" (CHEERS! I'll be there!), "Maybe" (YAWN! 50/50 chance I'll be there) or "No" (BOO! No way no how!) or via email at ephsclassof78@gmail.com.

We understand that this is a long way off, but consider it a leap of faith in what could be an outstanding end-of-summer party. How often can you celebrate turning 50 with a hundred or so of your old school friends?
